I am extremely disappointed with my experience working with this law firm. I was charged $5,600 for emails asking for updates on my case that was not being worked on and a demand letter that took 3 months to be sent out. I had expected much more substantive support and guidance given the fees involved.
Despite the high cost, I found myself having to take control of my case and ultimately settled the lawsuit on my own. The resolution came not because of their efforts, but through my own persistence and initiative. I had hoped for a more proactive and client-focused approach, but unfortunately, that was not my experience.
I would caution others to be very clear about the scope of services and billing practices before engaging this firm. In my case, the value received did not match the cost.
Response from the owner:Ms. Powder, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you didn’t feel fully supported during your time with us. While we can’t go into full detail due to confidentiality, we can say that we received all your documents on November 23, 2023, and your case was resolved on January 25, 2024, just over two months later. In that time, we prepared and sent a formal demand, negotiated terms, finalized and executed both a Settlement Agreement and a Quitclaim Deed. That kind of resolution is one we’d take every time in a matter like this. We know communication is key in any legal matter. We do our best to be clear about fees and expectations from the start and are always open to questions along the way. We appreciate your input and are happy to talk directly if you’d like to discuss further. We wish you all the best going forward.
